David L. Evans Leadership Scholarship Fund

The late David L. Evans founded Unity CDC. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of the historically under-served residents of the 4th and 5th Council Districts in Joliet, IL, by holistically addressing their needs in the areas of Housing and Commercial Development, Recreation and Education, Employment and Human Services, Small Business Development, Neighborhood Organizing and Transportation. JOSEPHINE C. SHARIF resides in Illinois with her husband and children. She is a firm believer in spiritual awakenings in every life she touches. In her first novel, Kiss The Son, she shares with readers how to worship and fall in love with the Lord through the captivating experiences of the characters and the loving devotionals before each chapter. Her prayer is for salvation and a loving relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ for everyone!
